About David Bergstein



David Rafael Bergstein is a Entrepreneur, Businessman and Philanthropist who focus his investments mainly
in acquiring companies that are undervalued, facing finical difficulties or are troubled in other ways. Bergstein has made himself known for being able to forecast trends and recognizing valuable opportunities to reconstruct and build fruitful businesses. Bergstein was born August 9, 1962 in New York City, NY, where he grew in a entrepreneurial and innovative environment due to his father being a renowned engineer. His father, a Holocaust survivor invented pioneering products that formed the basis of fiber optics in the industry.

David graduated high school early and attend Polytechnic Institute of New York University (which has since merged into NYU). After earning a  Pre-Med with a math minor, David went to law school at Cardozo University. During his time in law school, David worked under Joseph Stechler at Solomon Brothers and later at Bear Sterns being their research analyst focusing on locating, analyzing and reporting on undervalued situations.

In 1984, Bergstein relocated to California where he made a career buying and selling real estate which later transferred into real estate development. Due to a unstable market Bergstein abounded his business in real estate and went into investment, facilitating his experience from the transaction he had conducted in real estate.

The starting point of Bergstein's success as a financier was the investment of a company in the Garment District in Downtown Los Angeles, which he turned around and sold within a year.

In 1994, Bergstein formed Graybox, which later became Cyrano Group Inc. Since then David has been the CEO of Cyrano Group and has managed investments and transactions ranging in size from $5 to $1.5 billion. Gyrano Group Inc. is famous for investing all or a portion of their capital acting as a effective broker.
